Charles Keith West is owner of KWest Mediations LLC and has been committed to serving families, children and communities throughout his career as an educator and school administrator in the Howard County Public School System for over 30 years. He has always found comfort with knowing that both families and students could be their best selves when thriving in a safe space and nurturing environment. Mr. West worked with a host of community partners, service providers and organizations to provide resources to families. He has mediated over the years with families, students, teachers and community stakeholders to ensure positive outcomes for challenging situations and has fostered strong relationships to promote restorative practices in the schools and communities he has serviced. These relationships and experiences have allowed him to understand the needs of his clients.

Mr. West is a professionally trained mediator through the Center for Alternative Dispute Resolution and an active mediator with the Conflict Resolution Center of Montgomery County, Maryland. He has a proven record of successfully resolving complex disputes across a broad range of matters, including landlord–tenant conflicts, medical and dental practice–patient disputes, employee relations and workplace harassment cases, contract and customer–service provider disputes, property settlements, small claims, and family facilitations. His mediation practice is marked by effective communication, impartial analysis, and durable resolution outcomes.
